This time it's Imogen Parker, the author of nine novels. Her most recent 'The Time of Our Lives' was published in hardback last year to great acclaim and will be published in paperback in July.

It is the first in a trilogy about the life of a small south coast town over the last fifty years.

Collaborate with international crime writer Peter James

Wow! International crime writer Peter James has started an original new story for members of TheNeverEndingStory to read and add to!

Peter, whose current book 'Not Dead Enough' is no. 7 in the Sunday Times bestseller list (wow again!), wants YOU to collaborate with him to create a brilliant new story, with each page written by a different person from around the world.

Perhaps a page you write and submit on the site (don't forget its free to join!!!), will be picked and included in this unique new novel.

Go on, give it a go. After all, where else in the world (or on the world-wide-web) can you read and add to constantly evolving original new stories started by some of the world's biggest authors and stars?

Several more big name authors are due to write the start of original new stories for TheNeverEndingStory site!

Details are a little hush hush at the moment but I can reveal that one of them has had a major hit film made from one of her books.

Indian readers flock to join the collaborative story writing innovation

Thanks to a feature about TheNeverEndingStory appearing in India's Mumbai DNA newspaper, hundreds of Indian readers have flocked to the site and joined up as members (why wouldn't they, its free after all!).

Our Indian membership are active readers AND writers, and many have started their own stories or poems for others to add to.

I look forward to these unique e-publications being added to over time and becoming masterpieces in their own right!

Author Lesley Pearse joins the collaborative story writing revolution

Acclaimed author Lesley Pearse, who has sold more than 2 million books internationally, has become the latest big name author to join TheNeverEndingStory!

Lesley has kindly written the first page of a unique new story for the site which our growing band of international members can read and then add to.

Her page has only been on the site for a short while but already its been read by literally thousands of people from around the world.

New interactive story & poem site launched!

At long last - the new interactive TheNeverEndingStory site is now live!

The new site has taken much longer than expected to develop, however, I believe the results are worth it.

As well as the ability to read and add to original new stories started by famous people including Jeremy Vine and Limahl, the new site includes some great new features such as:

• The ability to START and MANAGE your own stories and poems online. You can keep your publications completely private, make them invitation only or even invite submissions from the entire TheNeverEndingStory global membership base!
• The ability to customise your own Profile Page and include your photo and details of your favourite authors and books.
• The ability to read and add to stories and members started by other site members.
• The opportunity to see the photo and name of each site member who has had a page they've written included in an online publication.
• The opportunity to read great new original short stories written by site members.
• The opportunity to write the next page of a new story written for TheNeverEndingStory by best-selling author Jeffrey Archer!

As you'll see, there's loads to do on the new site. What's more, the site's forum are still there for you to post your comments and feedback.

Version 2 testers wanted!

Hi Guys

Version 2 of TheNeverEndingStory site is progressing well behind the scenes and promises to offer great new features you won't find anywhere else on the Web!

But as with many website developments, the launch date has been put back slightly to ensure that when we do launch the site it will be perfect (or as close as possible!). We're now looking at a likely launch date of the end of September / early October but I promise the delay will be well worth it!

In the meantime I'm offering site members the chance to become version 2 testers who will be allowed access to the development site to offer their feedback and comments.

If you're interested in being part of the testing team on one of the most interesting community sites on the Web please email me or post a comment under this blog post.

Almost there with v2 of the unique constantly evolving stories and poems website

Version 2 of  TheNeverEndingStory is almost ready to launch!

The new site design is much clearer and should make accessing the stories and poems on the site much, much easier.

Some of the new functions we're introducing may not be ready at launch, but will follow shortly afterwards, hopefully by the end of August / early September.
